Best Book of the CENTURY!!!!
In case you couldn't tell I rather like this book. Some may even call it insanity. However, I do have good reason. James Dashner has painted a beautiful masterpiece of Action, Adventure, Mystery, and yes, a little Eerieness (hope I spelt that right).
It is by far my favorite book, and I will be waiting anxiously for the arrival of Book 3: The Death Cure.
*Warning: Page contains spoiler of INGENIOUS worksmanship. You have been warned.*
Thomas wakes up in a metal cube surrounded by nothingness. No Furniture, No Light, No People. And even stranger, no notion of who he is, or where he comes from. All he knows is his name. He arrives in a Farm-Like place called the Glade, with around 50 teenagers, all with no memory but their names. He quickly discovers the Glade is surrounded by a HUGE maze, filled with nightmarish creatures called Grievers, bred by a company called WICKED (World In Catastrophe- Killzone Experiment Department). Thomas soon realizes that they must escape the maze if they wish to stay alive. However, to do this he must unlock the secrets of his mind, or the lives of his friends will be wasted. He won't have to do it alone however, joined by his friends Teresa, Chuck, Minho, Newt, and sorta Alby.
You'll notice this review didn't have as many spoilers as the last, and that is because I'm avoiding a long monologue, and decided not to spoil it from now on.
